Error or cyber attack?

Iโ€™ve had an email from what appears to be smarty saying my payment was unsuccessful for my plan. There isnโ€™t a reason for this as I have sufficient funds and I have not cancelled my plan. With all the cyber attacks right now I wondered if this could be that or a glitch. When I opened the app it also said my plan has expired and service has been paused (even though thereโ€™s nothing wrong with my service or data). Can someone explain whatโ€™s going on as I donโ€™t fancy being hacked lol
