Different speeds for phone vs router - same sim card

I'm using a Smarty sim in my phone and getting 40-50mb/s but when I transfer the same sim, in the same spot in my house, I then only get 5-10mb/s.

Google Pixel 6 / Huawei 4g router B535 (previously bought via Three)

Does Smarty throttle connection when not used in a handset?

Thanks!

@Alexand_2133158 According to this article, the answer is no: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/1155178-our-policy-on-data-shaping-and-network-throttling

Does the router maybe need any firmware upgrade?

Network throttle is defined as lowering speeds

I will be contacting trading standards for false advertising practices

Appalling

Sorry, my mistake, read the help side incorrectly

My speeds dropped from 40-80mbit indoor to 0.5-3mbit

I'm a little triggered

Regarding your issue I had similar problems, Samsung note 9, 70mbit, tp-Link 4g lte router 30mbit

Apparently it is due to band compatibility and selection, in single spot of the house router displayed 4g+ lte LED, sadly in this spot there was 1 out of 5 bars of signal, speeds there were way better but unstable

Some people said that Huawei 4g router has wider range of support of bands and you can manually select them, for this feature I had to downgrade my router firmware and install beta version, provided by tp-Link forum staff...

Type 4g lte router band selection, get router based on this and your speeds will match the phone
