Data Add-ons allowance in EU

Hi,

I have a 15GB data only sim for a mobile router in my motorhome. I am going to the EU for 6 weeks and may need more than the 15GBs.

If I buy a data add-on can I use all of it in the EU or am I limited to the 12GB fair usage how ever much data I buy?

As I read it, you can certainly have a data add on if your plan does not have sufficient but if you need more than 12Gb of data for EU Roaming, then you would need a 1 or 3 day EU Roaming Data Pass as well.

My reasoning is that you are generally limited to 12Gb of EU Roaming Data, regardless of the nature of your plan.
