Hi all,
My payment date is 23rd of each month which is really annoying as im one of those, likes everything to come out immediately types, I see there is no mechanism to change the date of this with Smarty direct. My thought process to get round this would be to buy another plan with a new SIM the 1st day of the month and then port my number from my current Smarty account too the new one - happy to pay for a new monthly package as it is not a huge sum of money to get everything to come out at the same time its fine, Would this actually work though?

@Stevenewbery I do not believe that you will be able to port a number within the same network, so it won't work unfortunately.
The other possibility would be to stop the auto-renew and then purchase a new plan on the first of the month and put it on auto-renew then. The problem would be 5 days at the end of Feb where you cannot use Smarty (I think you can receive calls).

@Stevenewbery I agree with @MSF - you can not port your number within the same network.
You would either need to do what @MSF has suggested, which would leave you without service for several days, or you would need to temporarily port your number out to another network, then port it back into Smarty on a new plan and SIM (which you activated on the 1st of the month).
