i am new to this phone, my new number when rung gives a voice. Mail answer that the number was unavailable

Hi @lindam-2367076 have you transferred a number over to your SMARTY SIM? If so it might be that your transfer hasn't completed yet.
If you haven't transferred a number across and are using the number that came with the SMARTY SIM then it might be that you haven't activated the SIM yet. If you ordered the SIM through our website then you can activate it by logging into your dashboard and selecting 'Activate'. If you got the SIM from a third party then you can go to this link and follow the instructions to activate https://smarty.co.uk/activate
