I received my SMARTY SIM back in February and immediately arranged for my old phone number to be transferred for use on the new SIM, which is working, but, some of my friends are asking me if I have a new number because, when I call them, the SMARTY SIM phone number appears to call them (which they are unfamiliar with) rather than my OG phone (which is already saved on their devices under my name).
Is there any way to sort it, so only my old phone number which I had ported across is associated with this SIM card? I don't want people to ignore my calls cos they don't recognise the number calling them.
I've never come across this problem before. Could it be an indicator that criminals are trying to intercept bank/app/email temporary access codes?

@SimeonM_3187989 This topic really does come up frequently.
The phone has 'remembered' the first number allocated to the sim.
Try a Network Reset and that should cure it.
