The best gig I have been at was the Who and Alex Harvey Band in Glasgow in the 70’s. when Alex and the band played in their home city it just got the massive crowd ready for The Who. This was when throwing drumsticks into the crowd was ok before anyone ever thought someone could get injured. what an atmosphere out in the open air with Roger and the boys doing their stuff, WOW, 40 plus years ago and never topped. There was a band called Widowmaker playing on the bill too, and I met Bob Daisley from the band twice at Heathrow airport.36KViews3likes0Comments
