  • What do you love most about your current devices?

I love that it's mostly no-frills. I hate phones with too many features I'll never use. No-nonsense for me!

  • What do you love most about your current devices?

Bluetooth wireless headphones have come a long way! Noise cancelling really helps me stay calm throughout the day. Also high refresh rate screens make a huge difference - everything is so fluid. It's very hard to go back to 60Hz.

  • What classic device would you like to see updated (if technology issues were no problem)?

Loved my old Nexus 4 - it's amazing how basic it is by today's standards, but at the time it was lovely to use. I especially miss the notification LED. Don't know why they stopped putting them on phones!

  • What future features would you like to see from mobile tech?

More affordable devices with optical image stabilisation and optical zoom. It'll also be interesting to see how quick fast charging can become. I do miss removable batteries though - it would be great to see them become a thing again!

Having tech on the go allows me to bring my private life and work life to my finger tips. From being able to control my EV car charging, preheat, locking and unlocking when required. Having a 24 hour link to Teams keeping  me up to date with colleagues.

There was a Galaxy Note 9 in my care for 3,5 years and I absolutely adored it. It had a stylus which I used to create some doodles and sketches or simply to use the button to take pictures of night shots, when stand was not with me.

But most importantly, this brilliant phone most likely saved (indirectly) my life, as it had a heart rate monitor I once decided to use just after I woke up in the morning. It actually showed me that my heart has a condition which my GP described as a "lazy heart" which unchecked can lead to several, even lethal outcomes.

Only reason I did change it, was the battery-not holding the charge for full day even with a branded extended battery phone case.

Since then I'm having a smart bracelet and always on a lookout until my referral goes trough.

I can see technology saving lives at work on a daily basis (NHS), which is the best bit of living at the time of such advancement.

My kindle is my favourite tech. I have Alzheimer's and reading keeps my brain active. I must say my android phone pixel helps because I play a couple of games which again helps .

Just having my standard smartphone is amazing, banking, calendars, emails, shopping and all the social bits and bobs. Just makes life so much easier, and life isn't always easy ^_^
I would dearly love a new one though, mine is starting to show its age 🤕 😅

difficult to say I like all my tech!  but if I have to choose just one then my kindle e-reader.  Light and easy to use, fits in a handbag for reading on the bus, train, drs, bed just about anywhere and with the adjustable back light I can read in the dark and not disturb my other half.  Now on my 3rd one think I must wear them out with so much use!

Hi, here's my answer to this question:

  • What future features would you like to see from mobile tech?

I would like to see the following features in future tech:

  1. Mobile phone tech that you can scroll up.. This is a new form factor, so you could just roll it up like a piece of paper (not just foldables, but scrollables)
  2. I would love to see mobiles that allow you to dual boot across both iOS and Android.

  • What do you love most about your current devices?

I love that mobile data is now easily affordable, and when there is signal, fast and reliable.  Other tech I am currently loving is the xbox series S, which with game pass is great value.

  • What classic device would you like to see updated (if technology issues were no problem)?

It will be interesting to see what Nintendo console will come in the future. I loved the couch multiplayer era of the N64, so something that encourages in-person multiplayer would be great.

  • What future features would you like to see from mobile tech?

Perhaps the ability to easily and smoothly work as a mobile PC. Similar to a Raspberry Pi, with full sized key board, mouse and screen attaching.

My favourite bit of tech is my mobile phone. I use it as everything; phone, diary, laptop, camera, game console........I don't know how we survived without one in the good old days!

I like my my pen and paper. No battery, replacement parts are easy to come by and the tech never goes wrong.

For updating, I'd like my phone to be updated to provide complete access at all times without geographic restrictions.

Future features I'd like to see would include problem free voice transcription, week long battery life and a keyboard designed for big fingers.

  • What do you love most about your current devices? I love how many different things I can do on them. work, games, shopping, photos, films… probably more!
  • What classic device would you like to see updated (if technology issues were no problem)? I loved my old razer v3 and would like to see more folding or flip phones at affordable prices. I would even be happy if it had an area on the device of the old metal keypad from the razer. It was so satisfying to press. Or, take the old phone as it looked and change the screen to a bigger one with modern tech.
  • What future features would you like to see from mobile tech? I would like smaller, fold-out devices and tech linking to headset spectacles.

I use multiple portable devices but I love my Smart Phone because I can do so much on the one device these days. I can do my Online Banking, handle emails, play games, search out information, navigate, Stream music, stream TV and Movies, take Pictures and Videos and handle documents. I could do with more sensors to allow me to manage my own healthcare better and run multiple apps simultaneously (although I do already stream video and music at the same time). All of this needs power, memory and battery life so I need a device that can charge quickly or has a stunning battery life and powerful processor. It still needs to be an easily portable device though, and that seems to be the issue these days.

I would love a kitchen planner device, you scan in all items (food, cooking devices) it helps you meal plan then, giving you the cheapest meals and ways to cook. It then orders your food from the cheapest supplier online, it could be attached to all kitchen equipment to help prep the meal.

I love my smart phone because it allows me to do so many things, navigation, email, smart home controls, access information, watch tv/movies, work and play all in one handy device. What I really want is the power to handle multiple apps at once and therefore a longer battery life and the memory to cope together with healthcare apps and capabilities. Longer battery life also means that I need faster charging.

I love my A52S, it's got a great size, great specs and very good price when I bought it. I don't feel I need a flagship phone when this does it all very neatly.

I think one of the best things ever is Amazon Alexa (and family of devices). The kitchen echo can show me who is ringing the Blink doorbell and instantly tell me, for example, how many ccs are in a tablespoon as well as setting timers for boiling eggs and doing roasts etc. Amazingly versatile. And if you are disabled like my Bro-in-law, it also lets you control compatible devices like his LG TV and lets him call his wife remotely if he needs her. Finally it can fill the house with music just by saying "Alexa play [radio station] everywhere and all the house devices will play synchronised music. Just brilliant.
