Having recently joined Smarty my voicemail showing 2 voicemails. Despite several contacts via the Help link and following their guidance this is still fixed after a month. They seem technically incapable of resolving— can anyone help please.

@Ianto54 Unless it's changed now, as far as I'm aware, Smarty's voicemail system doesn't actually use the voicemail spool symbol - it alerts you via a standard text message instead.
Could the spool symbol have been set by your previous network? If so, you'll probably need to have a google about how to force your phone to clear it.
