How long should you wait on your old number porting over from Vodafone? It was supposed to happen on the 24th April and I'm still waiting? I keep getting told its Vodafone's end something to do with their files? Any suggestions?

Hey - sounds like what we call a 'split port'. Basically, there are files within your number, and if your previous provider does not release all of these files, it will leave you with partial services. As a result, SMARTY would need to directly reach out to the provider, in your case Vodafone, and request that the missing files be released. I hope that makes sense.
