I live in a PR9 area of Southport. A quit a few weeks ago I posted about the really poor mobile signal for internet and telephone calls since taking down of a local signal mast that is quite close and I can actually see from my house.
As you can imagine, this has an impact on several levels with no signal, including working from home and making telephone calls to name a few.
I did receive a reply with regards to the mast that would likely take several months to be replaced and that I should use Wi-Fi for my telephone calls however, my Wi-Fi also uses Smarty’s network in the house via a router that to is also affected.
To my amazement about two weeks ago they started erecting a new mast at the same location as the old mast, that took them about a week and then last week they had men at the top of the mast. I assume wiring and connecting various components and together. They then all disappeared.
The results of this is that I still have very poor Wi-Fi and mobile telephone connection and I can’t work out why this is the case, I’ve also checked any issues on the Smarty network that says everything in my area is working correctly . I’m now considering together with my wife and daughter whether we should leave Smarty as the service provided as fallen far short that it once was. Can anyone actually give me an update as to what is actually going on.
thank you.

@SamirMo_2102952 Unfortunately, we can't. We are customers like you and not Smarty Employees.
You can web chat with Smarty Support after doing a Network Status check.
