Reinsert SIM

I get many daily requests to reinsert the SIM - Am i doing something wrong?

@DavidRo_2829710 Requests from whom? There should be no need to re-insert a sim if it is working and if there is nothing wrong with the phone.

Settings on phone comes up with the request

Have just had it again - phone works for imessagses and FaceTime OK - recently changed to Smarty from Virgin / O2 so never had an issue / messages before.  annoying!

Hi, Iโ€™ve recently joined Smarty from O2 and brought my original number with me which ported successfully. Iโ€™m getting messages to tell me to reinsert my Sim to keep using my number with iMessage & Facetimeโ€ฆโ€ฆany ideas whatโ€™s happening?

@SpikeyC  When you activated the Smrty sim, it was allocated a random mobile number and the phone is probably 'remembering' it.

Log out of FaceTime and iMessage and then log back in again - hopefully all should be well. also check in Settings to see that correct number showing or else change it manually.
