No signal in India

I paid for a 15 £ add on and have landed in india

but cant connect to any networks at all. 
I have changed my settings to mob.asm ages ago and don’t have any trouble in the EU. 
Anyone have any ideas ??

@JayantK_2407085  Have you tried a manual search for networks rather than the usual automatic that phones set to usually.

Are you sure that you did not connect from the outset and then use up all of your credit? The rates are VERY high - see Price Guide: https://cdn.smarty.co.uk/files/SMARTY-Price-Guide.pdf?_gl=1*1f0dbhm*_ga*MTk0MDAyMDYyMy4xNzIwNDI1ODk0....

Data is 25p per Megabyte - your £15 would be eaten up quite rapidly if you had mobile data on when you got there.

If possible, I would recommend an Esim or a local sim as a much cheaper alternative.
