@JenniferTyrer Depends how long you mean by 'a while" ! Also depends if your old network has ditched the number.
Normally, you apply to the old network for a PAC code and then complete the section in your smarty Account dashboard so that smarty can request the number from your old network and port it into the smarty network on your activated Smarty sim.
If your old sim is still active, then you can request a PAC - does the sim show any life if you put it in a phone? You may need to contact the old network to ask if it is not obvious.
