Find out who a private number is?

Hi guys,

I've been receiving lots of missed calls from a private number recently, none of which I've been able to answer as they keep calling in the middle of the day when I'm working. Obviously this is frustrating as I don't know who is calling me and I have no way of calling them back as their number is hidden.

I know some phone networks have the capability of unmasking numbers and was wondering if SMARTY has that option or something similar?

@MeganBa_1096226 Although it is possible, no supplier will provide details of the hidden/private/withheld number. To do so would require a court order, possibly more than one, which would require you to complain and prove harrasment to the police. If you can get the police on the case, then they may be able to find out who is calling you. However, they may not be willing/able to tell you.

You can only override a customer’s CLI preferences in limited circumstances, namely to trace malicious or nuisance calls or to facilitate emergency 999 and 112 

Unfortunately This is the user who phones a number and using a withold number there privacy so definitely not be able to trace a withhold number
