Emergency calls only after foreign travel

I've just come back from Canada and the sim won't let me make calls in the Uk now. I've checked my dashboard and have plenty of cash in my account, including an "out of contract" £10 sum which has not been used. It worked in UK before I left, it worked in Canada while I was there, now it' s stopped. Can anyone help?

@MichaelM_163088 Have you purchased a Smarty plan to use now that you are here? The £10 credit would only be used for services not covered by the normal plans e.g. international calls, international non-EU roaming.

By the way, in Canada, and non EU countries, it often works out cheaper to use an e-Sim if your phone is compatible - or even a local sim.
