Have been trying to use data in Germany without luck changed apn to mob.asm.net doesn't work.
Any other ideas as a real pain.

Double check that you have changed the APN in your phone to “mob.asm.net” then do a manual network selection, which may help.
What is your location ? Major city or rural location ?

@CarmelEy_879907 Manual network selection and try each in turn, as @JJP2RidesAgain says.
Also make sure you have not already roamed using 12Gb of data or more than 60 days because that is the limit.

She has over 20gb left of her allowance so that isn't a problem

@CarmelEy_879907 That's not correct I'm afraid. When EU Roaming, you are limited to 12Gb data. If you want more, then you need to buy an EU Data Roaming Pass for either 1 day or 3 days - see Price Guide for details.

Ok I mean she has 20gb from her overall allowance so certainly has 12gb to be able to use if she could connect.

@CarmelEy_879907 So, have you checked the APN is set to mob.asm.net as previously suggested? Have you tried Manual Network selection as previously suggested?
If there is no solution, you will need to have a web chat with Smarty Support so that they can check the account. We mere mortal members cannot do that.
