Can't connect to my google nest

I have just got an only data sim to power my gadgets at home. 

But I simply can't connect to the Google nest hub!!!

Can you, most kindly, advise me?

But I'm thinking  it wants a broadband service  as opposed to a hot-spot?

It says I should connect to a WIFI, but doest bring up my mobile network on the list.
I have to physically input it and it says connected on the hub but don't connect on my mobile

You would not see your mobile network (Smarty) because you would effectively be connecting to the router as 'hotspot'

@Iyunola_2751062  You are going to need to connect  a device so that you can access the app on it as far as I can see from the article. Did you do that?

The issue may also lie in having a steady internet connection. You may be aware that Smarty specifically state that you cannot rely on mobile data as a replacement for broadband.

Yes, I did do that. 

So  it may be that the hub actually needs a broadband to work!!.
