Can't connect to my google nest

I have just got an only data sim to power my gadgets at home. But I simply can't connect to the Google nest hub!!!Can you, most kindly, advise me?

Yes, I did do that. So it may be that the hub actually needs a broadband to work!!.Many thanks indeed.

It says I should connect to a WIFI, but doest bring up my mobile network on the list.I have to physically input it and it says connected on the hub but don't connect on my mobile

Hi!I did!But I'm thinking it wants a broadband service as opposed to a hot-spot?
