Just signed up to smarty and received a bonus sim, my with is out of her contract in 2-3 months, will it still be valid for her to use sim to connect to smarty

I had a Bonus SIM (BS) that was included when I signed to Smarty LAST YEAR.
Today, Fri 26/5/23, I want to ADD this BS to my account on the Smarty App so that I can ACTIVATE it, then add an Unlimited Data plan to the BS.
App asks for my postcode so a NEW SIM can be send out to me, there is NO OPTION to use the BS.
Used the chat function after logging into my a/c on desktop, Smarty's Lavina said the BS is "valid for 24hrs after the 1st SIM is signed up/activate", words to that effect.
The slowness of the chat response due to "high volume of queries", I was waiting anything up to 5mins for a reply, I gave up and just ordered a NEW sim.

Its the same on the desktop after logging into my Smarty a/c, have to order a NEW sim with no option to use the BS let alone progress further to add plan onto the sim.
