@MALCOLM_3468644 You can activate a second sim within a group and using the same email.

Try this article: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/3417277-what-is-a-group-plan

I had the same problem, needing to activate a second sim (for an internet router). Didn't manage to use the same email address but used instead a second email address. I think the problem was that my dashboard kept logging in automatically to my first sim account (so no activation options). Logging off that enabled an activation for the second sim to be made via smarty.co.uk/activate, using the second email and a second account. Then I invited the second sim to the Group of the first sim (all rather fiddly). Fortunately the second account could be verified with an option to get the 6 digit code by email instead of to the mobile number of the second sim (which is in the router). Phew (took about 2 hours searching help and trying different things) !

@AntDeak_3432489 Not sure why you did not have the option to start a 'nickname sim' when you chose to activate a new sim. This would use the same email and effectively be a 'sub-unit- within the group only to be administered by you.

Hi MSF, thank you for your message. There was indeed an option to start a 'nickname sim' which I did follow. My recollection is that when I was asked to add the email address I put in the same one as for the first sim and completed the other boxes but, instead of the second sim being added, a message appeared to say that the email address was already in use and the page just went back to the dashboard. The 'nickname sim' option didn't seem to appear again thereafter. (Perhaps I missed an option to add the 'nickname sim' without entering an email address).
