Anyone else having data issues when phones auto connect to 4g?
3g works fine but I can't manually connect to it (iPhone 14) so I end up with no data connection whilst at work.

Luckily, my iPhone (iOS 17.3) works well with the SMARTY network, @SteveSc_2397746.
Looking at: Settings > Mobile Service > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data - mine is set to use "5G Auto".
The only other options here are: "5G Auto", "5G On" and "4G". Not sure how you'd force use of 3G given these options.
Have you check the network status at your work location, @SteveSc_2397746?

Thanks for the response.
Yeah my settings are much the same. Tried turning off roaming too.
A work colleague uses the Three network and has the same problem. They have offered a reduced monthly payment as compensation until they fix the problem.
Doesn't help me but shows there is a problem.
Status checker doesn't show up anything

Can you use a Wi-Fi network connection at work instead, @SteveSc_2397746?
If it's not an unplanned works at your location, then perhaps Three UK could be working on the local cell tower/s, and their backhaul network as part of the 3G network switch-off project.
