Im sick to death of trying to tell the idiots at smarty that i have no service, and getting back lies, such as telling me I've renewed when i had, th3n no service in my area, when the smarty system said there was. Just put my sim in my mini mobile router. I bought it so that when my wife goes on holiday, if she has no signal she could use wifi to whatsapp me. The advert read, there is no contract, which is what I wanted. I wanted to use it along the lines of PAYG, so in other words if I didnt want to pay anything one month I could just skip, all I wanted to start with is to try it at home then when my wife went on holiday, or I ended up in hospital, to see how it works and explain it to my wife, then I would top it up with a higher one month term. "ONLY AFTER PAYING" I find out if you stop the recurring payment they cancel, which means going through setting it all up again as a new plan. If I'd known we were going to be conned into paying every month I would not have joined. I am very disappointed. Does anyone else feel the same. The advert is very misleading and annoying. Hi, can we please get this sorted, I reported in late 2025 that your confirmation emails of monthly payments is out of sync. Instead of referring to a date in a months time it refers to todays date. Problem started about November 2025. Surprise, suprise nothing has been done about this embarrasing lack of eye for detail. Others have spotted it, but no action so far. When I tried to highlight it, I was meet with more interest in my account details than this simple to fix piece of wrong information from Smarty. Someone fix it please !!!!! Hi I did not sign up for auto renewal, yet you auto renewed my plan anyway. I was not planning to use the sim this month and now Ive gone and wasted 9 pounds. If you did go and auto renew my plan without specifying when I got the sim, the least I would expect is for you to let me know a day or 2 before that my plan is renewing, so that I can take action. Just to say that its renewed and the payment went through, this is highly unprofessional and Im severely disappointed. I am a new customer and feel Ive been wronged. I have now turned off auto renew but its too late for this month. Im requesting you to please refund me this months money if you want me to continue with smarty.
