Short codes 79100
I have just read a post from 2/2025 saying we can use short codes one here , but in Dec last year 2025 I tried to join fabswingers as a supported yes I can't wait for the jokes 😀 and I got charges for the text but the code never worked and ended up being refunded for out of plan add on moneys, does anyone know if this has changed or its still a no.go from.smarty ? Thanks Jim x

Grooveriderz​ I notice that any incoming text from that number is charged at £5. Just wondering if your text did go - charged at 15p - but whether there was sufficient credit to pay for the incoming reply.
So the text was sent , smarty took £5:off + 35p credit I hadjust added to out of plan , top up. Took x2 attempts with agent before I could recover the money. Agent was clueless try this try that Google and GPT says smarty doesn't accept short code text
Grooveriderz​ Smarty does certainly accept at least some short codes, so that info is not correct - was it a current reference? Smarty were admittedly late adopters of short code text.
