Short codes 79100
I have just read a post from 2/2025 saying we can use short codes one here , but in Dec last year 2025 I tried to join fabswingers as a supported yes I can't wait for the jokes 😀 and I got charges for the text but the code never worked and ended up being refunded for out of plan add on moneys, does anyone know if this has changed or its still a no.go from.smarty ? Smarty decline since merger
Any one else noticed the decline in data speeds and reliability since the merger. Smarty outages are now lasting days instead of hours, 2 - days now with less than 2Mbs, sometimes drops to 0.5Mbs on 4G - upload speeds are fine at 20Mbs. I used to get 70Mbs download even on 4G+. Three as always says work on going but Smarty only sends you to the community, not sure they have a customer service portal.
Downgrade from Unlimited Data
I currently have an unlimited data plan, but I think I can get by on the 100GB Data plan which is a little cheaper. The unlimited plan auto renews on the 10th of every month, but if I switched to the new plan on the 5th for example, would that be the new auto renewal date or would it still be the 10th. Thanks for any help. Edit: I've just found the answer staring me in the face... "The change will come into effect after your current plan resets on Wednesday 10th June".
No service and told lies by smarty Rubbish!
Im sick to death of trying to tell the idiots at smarty that i have no service, and getting back lies, such as telling me I've renewed when i had, th3n no service in my area, when the smarty system said there was. I've been with smarty for about 6 years - but on this occasion i am sick!
