Just joined Smarty and all appears to be going okay but I am puzzled by the lack of contact-ability of the Support staff. I presume there are some support people lurking in the background but I am concerned that they are so elusive. Every other service provider has had a support phone number and a contact email , whether web based or via an email program. Is this bothering other people ?102Views0likes1CommentNew SIM problem ?
Activated my new Smarty SIM yesterday and I notice that the mobile number in the Dashboard is not the same as I requested (i.e. I sent a PAC code to Smarty with the details). However even though the number displayed is not mine all my old services seem (?) to be working. When my wife calls my new Smarty number to test it out there is no connection but my old number (from vodafone) still works. I purchased a Smarty Sim Card from a shop last month, it worked fine to begin with and when in an 16 Plus phone which is kept updated but does not show all applications within the Support app (I've gone forward with this info through the blue support app) and the phone kept my Smarty number withheld when I tried to call the nation long building society earlier today. Therefore I tried to call from a non-application/internet phone and that phone won't allow the Smarty Simcard to connect to the building society (used across the nation) scam/fraud line I need to speak with to report an ID verification email disappearing from my encrypted email account.... Anyone able to advise on how to get through to said companies and get the Smarty number working on every device? Living back home nearby Saint Annes On The Sea, Lancashire. So, can someone please explain why my phone number comes up correctly when I call yet on messages it has the temp number before my number was brought over from Vodafone to smarty? I've tried various work around yet nothing seems to fix the problem. Getting on my nerves now. For the past two days my phone is not registering my sim card onto the network in Falmouth? Service status just keeps saying there is a signifigant issue in the area and will be fixed as soon as possible! Not exactly the reliable service I was expecting and the info is vague. If anyone has any idea what the issue is and a ETA on a fix I would be most grateful. Oddly I get full bar signal.....so it is not a signal issue.....and looking at the data returned from the handshake it seems my Smarty Sim is failing authorisation? I am posting here because both the SMS (65075) and the online dashboard are returning errors, preventing me from obtaining my PAC code. This is a direct violation of Ofcom’s "Auto-Switching" regulations. Under Ofcom General Condition C6, you are legally required to provide my PAC code within 2 hours of a request. Your technical failures do not exempt you from this obligation. I demand an immediate manual intervention from a support agent to provide my PAC code. I am leaving your network because the SIM card is not compatible with my tablet. Provide the correct contact email or have an agent contact me immediately. Google Pixel 9 Pro (fully updated) My WiFi calling isn't working. I'm connected to WiFi but if I put my phone into aeroplane mode (while still connected to WiFi) and try to make a call it comes up with a message saying "turn off aeroplane mode or connect to a WiFi network to make calls". WiFi is working fine and has been rebooted. Have this issue on any WiFi network (I'm with BT, my parents are with Virgin and I have the issue at both places). I’ve just recenty joined Smarty and have an eSim. Now when I’m away from home and my wifi I’m unable to use some of my apps or brows the web. I’m receiving a notification telling me I have no internet connection! This is not what I expected from using a Smarty sim. i also now have 2 mobile numbers which I do not want, a primary and personal one. i’m very disappointed in my new Smarty sim and wishing I hadn’t moved from my previous provider.
