It's disgraceful Visual Voicemail and RCS aren't available on SMARTY. With the Vodafonethree merger, three (and this SMARTY) should just adopt the enhanced features from the Vodafone network. There is no need to reinvent the wheel.
I would go so far as to say that the current voicemail system as implemented and alluded to in the OP's comment on data security, does not currently comply with GDPR.
