Have smarty upgrade
There systems and everyone has to have
new sim card as I have just received a
phone call saying they are smarty and
my sim will be disconnected in 3
Days and no longer be able to use my
phone. Is this true? And i will have a new sim card sent to me and they wanted my email address etc which I didn't give to them

That certainly sounds like a scam. These calls usually mention the major/big name providers though like 3 or Vodafone so it’s concerning as they knew which provider you’re actually with.

SMARTY would not make outbound calls like this; we do not have a customer service call centre and would only call you if you have requested a call back. My advice would be to contact our chat team to check your account https://smarty.co.uk/contact available daily from 8am – 8pm.
Also to report the phone number that has called you as Spam, Text CALL to 37726 or 7726. Include the number of the nuisance dialler.
