Newby here. Have just invested in a 5g hub and using Smarty sim. However I seriously underestimated our data usage and I have purchased the "unlimited" data asd on even though the dates will overlap with my original plan.
However when I log in my data usage is still showing the original data package. Have I done something wrong?

Are you using the SMARTY app or doing this online, @ClareWa_2555010?
Does the app and the dashboard show the same data allowance?
You may need to chat to customer service - do this online at https://smarty.co.uk/contact.
The advisers work 8am - 8pm everyday.
FYI, the SMARTY terms say plans with an unlimited data allowance should not be used as long-term replacement for landline broadband.

That's interesting -especially as I was sent a Smarty card together with my 5G hub!

FYI, this issue is covered under "Responsible use" in section 5 of the current SMARTY terms, which are online at https://cdn.smarty.co.uk/files/SMARTY-Terms-And-Conditions.pdf.

@ClareWa_2555010 When on your Account Dashboard, you should be able to scroll down and see any 'live' add-ons.
A data add-on is for a fixed amount of data - see Price guide p14 - p16 - I think that you may have purchased and Unlimited Data Pass for a fixed number of days
