Should I have got a data only plan?
I got a plan with calls and texts in addition to 12G of data, but it’s for a mobile MiFi device. I will want to use it a bit in Europe but now I see that I have to activate it in some way and receive codes by text. Have I got the wrong plan?

Hello DavidMo_2044710 . The nearest data plan was 15Gb for £9 - £1 more but no calls or texts. In EU, you can only use up to 12Gb of the data unless you purchase a data pass as an extra.
You can activate the sim via the website, so you would need an alternative mobile number to receive a verification code (doesn't have to be Smarty I think)
If you also have a calls/texts/data Smarty plan, then you can put both SIM cards into a group and get 10% discount (doesn't apply if you have a special offer on either)
