Service is really poor,. Smarty owe me for failing to deliver

Since moving to Smarty I have had real bad service availability… I live in the country but previous service providers O2, EE always gave a service.  I’m trying to arrange a meeting today but seven text send attempts have all failed today… and this is not the first time.  Smarty are cheap at £8 per month  but I feel they owe me as failure to provide a reliable service is not what anyone would sign up to.  Be very careful if you consider Smarty as an option

Did you check Smarty's predicted coverage in your area before signing up?

Have you tried using WiFi calling (which also sends your texts over your home internet connection)?

If it's not working for you and you're within 14 days of activating your SIM, you can contact Smarty support and ask to cancel under the cooling off period. You will get a partial refund for the month you've paid for. If you're past the 14 day cooling off period, just turn off auto renew and switch to a network that has better coverage where you are.

@Patrick_3004181 Smaerty owe you nothing as they do not guarantee a service - see T&C's. Companies use their 'best endeavours' to provide service but it would be almost impossible to guarantee it.

Why did you move away from the previous providers if their mast provided a good service? Why not go back if that is going to work for you?

  • Moved away for low price… mistake!

@Patrick_3004181  Quite possibly....unfortunately 😥

Cracking deal currently available on Lebara if Vodafone's coverage is good where you are.
