I think the 12gb limit for EU roaming is unfair, if you’ve paid for 40gb (as I have) you should be able to use it freely

@GordonBa_949757 In that case, you would need to find a network that allows you to use 100% of your data for EU Roaming.
I think you may struggle with that one.
The thing I that there is an EU agreement on this: https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/internet-telecoms/mobile-roaming-costs/index_en.htm
If you were permitted to use all of your data plus unlimited calls and texts then some people might choose to buy a UK sim while living in anEU country if they found it cheaper. I don't think that UK networks want that type of business - a number of them already operate in EU countries and probably get more money out of customers there.

I agree fully.
What constitutes fair use?
Blew through 12g in 2 weeks, have a 120g package.
Just a heads up, Tesco mobile have no limits, and no limit using o2
About time Smarty starts listening to its customers. I am an ex Three user, which did have unlimited eu.

You are incorrect about Three and O2.
How much of your allowance you can use in the EU for free:
As you can see, this varies a lot, and there are both better and worse options than Smarty when it comes to EU roaming allowance. But the beauty of providers like Smarty is that you're not tied in, so are free to switch away to one of the other providers at any time.

I stand corrected regards O2, been given **bleep** info. My Three account was unlimited, had not switched contract when it had run out and was paying to much.
Got a few plans in the future, but have the option to run 2 sims, getting a second in eu.

@THAGGER But then you're not paying the same as you did on Three.
Smarty is a no-frills service at a reasonable cost. If your needs are greater, then you need to consider what network offers to meet them and bear in mind the cost.

They actually offered exactly the same price as Smarty. To little to late as had already asked for pac code

@THAGGER As a point of information, we are members like you and do not work for Smarty and so will not feel the loss of business directly.
Let's hope you can get what you need with your next provider.
