Poor network coverage sudenly even at home

I have never had great network coverage. However this month it's got much worse. I was in Ireland last week and couldn't get hardly any coverage from Galway right down to Cork and everywhere in between. I had to link to my sons EE phone. Now I'm home and I can't get coverage in my village, or my town. 

I have rest network settings but it's just unusable right now. Has anything changed recently? I'm going to have to leave realistically as it's always been patchy service when travelling but now it might as well be unlimited data and calls for 1p a month. I can't use the service.

There is, at times, heavy usage in this local area. As a result, you may experience varying data speeds depending on how many customers are connecting to our network via your closest mast.

We’re always working to improve our network and aim to provide the best experience possible.

I suggest repeating that check for your own postcode to see if it's any different.
