Poor Coverage in Murcia Spain

First off I think Smarty are very good in the UK, but I have been to Spain twice over the last few months in the Murcia region and the data coverage is virtually non existent and the mobile signal poor at best. All my data settings are correct. Has anyone else had this issue? Previously used EE, & O2 and did not experience these issues. Do not want to change networks, but unless I can resolve this issue will be left with no choice or get an eSIM.

@IanWhit_2220644  The most common network over there is Movistar - have you tried connecting to all available networks just to check?

I suspect that the main Spanish Networks give priority to their own customers before letting other EU connections take up a load of bandwidth. I'm hardly surprised and would hope that's the same with the UK networks when EU people roam here.

As you say, if data is important then an eSim may be the answer. Espero que tengas buena suerte.
