How do people find the EU roaming works in practice?
I'm going to Spain tomorrow and it's the first time I've used Smarty. I've jumped from Giffgaff that seemed to have patchy coverage.
Thank you so much in advance for any information. I've already set my phone according to the instructions.
Cheers Dave

@DavidPi_2605800 I have used roaming in the EU many times and it has always met my needs. I am not a big data user, but not had issues. I have always managed calls and texts without problem.

Smarty roaming in Europe works well for me.
If you experience slow speeds, manually select a network on your phone. If I Recall Correctly , โMovistarโ is one of the best, if not the best, network in Spain.
I also get a small amount of data, which can be topped up if necessary, from the likes of Airalo and Holafly, dedicated travel eSIMs. Videos about such services are on YouTube, and, under my former account here, JJP2, I reviewed a few travel eSIMs in the โOff Topicโ section of this forum.
