Renewal Data and add on not connecting
Hi everyone
i I have been with smarty since Sept 2025 and my renewal always rolled over every month with no issues. Yesterday I received an email advising me data was running low so I purchased an add on. My data ran out and the add on didn’t kick in.
I waited until my renewal which was overnight last night and thought it would work again today. It’s not and however I try I am unable to access data.
I have been on web chat and they just keep saying my account is active and the renewal data and the add on is all there active.
I have another Smarty sim in another device and that is working perfectly so it’s not the network. All was working great until it ran out of data and now nothing works however much I add to the account. They have my money but I have no data and they aren’t interested in providing a solution!
Is there anything I can do to kickstart the data add on or renewal data?! Thank you.

Flinders Did you buy an out-of-plan add on or a data add-on; only the latter will extend the data in your plan. See Price Guide p12 - 16:

What does your Account dashboard show in terms of add-on or smarty plan? Does that show the same as Smarty Support are saying?
When vhey check your account, if it is showing an active Smarty plan plus an add-on, not sure what else they can do really. Did you try the age-old "turn it off, wait a few minutes, then turn it on again" schtick?
