Hi. I have two Smarty plans, one of which has just expired. I've been trying to move the expired plan's phone number to my existing Smarty  plan and have tried everything I can think of, but to no avail.  When I enter my PAC code and phone number, I'm always asked to check my number, which I've entered correctly, so, I'm stuck!. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@LeeBenn_2795764  I do not think that you can port a number within the same network. You would need to port the number out to another network sim and then back to the sim you want.

As an alternative, can you not just use the sim with the number you want to keep and let the other one lapse?

Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, I think you're right about not being able to move phone numbers within a network. Your alternative is what I was doing before and yes, I think it's the best (definitely simplest!) solution. I'll just move the sim to my phone and tether to its hotspot. This way, I at least keep my number!.

Thank you again for your response to my query, I really do appreciate your help 👍
