I have 3 sims, 2 phones and one in a home router.
CT68UF have had terrible service for months now. Calls don't connect or drop out, Router can't cope with basic TV streaming. Over the summer have been in France, Italy and Greece and no problems. Customer service bots accept that our local mast is overloaded and say engineers are working on it. When asked for date, no date is available. Offered one off compensation of 2.40 as second offer. When I asked for ongoing reduction until fixed I had no response.
All I want is a usable service that I am paying for.
Service is currently getting worse so I assume they are taking on more clients in this area.

@lenoskor Given that they advertise quite a bit, I think you have made a fair assumption that they are still taking on more customers.
You say that local mast is overloaded, but if a lot of other people also have three connections running, it's easy to see how the problem could arise.
The other problem is that Smarty don't run the network and so are at the behest of Three - probably why they do not have accurate info.
If you were to move networks, could you be sure that you wouldn't have a similar problem there?

Haven't got to the point of changing networks, am quite happy generally with Smarty.
The same mast is probably used by other networks other than 3 but can't comment on that.
I just want some straight answers about progress in solving the problem.

@lenoskor Unfortunately, I don't think that is something you will get anytime soon.

Is this common across UK or just specific areas

Your post is somewhat ironic @lenoskor in that you yourself are adding to the network overloading !
Smarty's value for money pricing is also its achilles heel, as some people use multiple devices, hogging bandwidth, and then complain that the service is poor !
You remind me of the guy from a few months back "Smarty is a load of shizz, wah wah wah !"...EVENTUALLY, he admits that his family were using Smarty Mobile in a mifi router, as opposed to fixed line broadband, and that they were trying to run 4 phones, 4 tablets, 2 gaming consolea and a Firestick from the same connection ! What you are trying to do is alimg the same lines.
Smarty's terms and conditions do say that its a mobile phone service that is not to be used as a long term replacement for fixed line broadband.

RovingRaspberry, what a lot of rubbish. If you had read my original post you would see that I pay for 3 sims, 2 phones and one in a router that I use to watch TV. I might just as well be watching TV on my phone or casting it to my TV. It makes no difference, the company accepts that their mast cannot cope with local demand but cannot give any indication as to when it will be upgraded. I have no problem with Smarty in general, when I am away from home I usually get excellent service. I switched my home router to Smarty because the service I was getting from fixed line broadband was rubbish due to corroded copper lines in waterlogged ducting feeding my area.
As for my TV being the problem you must be joking, the problem exists anyway and the company accepts that.
Do you have a vested interest in Smarty?

@lenoskor Smarty do specifically state that their mobile data should not be considered a replacement for fixed line broadband.
Admittedly you are paying for three sims and not trying to run everything from one, but the issue here surely is that you are taking three connections to a busy mast and that cannot make the situation easier.
As I said, I'm not surprised that the company cannot give information because they do not run the infrastructure.

Maybe when I can get some good sensibly priced broadband I'll take it. Doubt that turning off my TV will make the slightest difference to signal quality on my phones or any one else in the area.

@lenoskor You turning off your TV won't make any difference, true. The sim surely still maintains a connection to the mast though and that will make some difference.
Now, if everybody running multiple sim's turned mobile data off on some........

Oh dear, someone is not operating on full brain cells this morning !
Go back, read your post again, and then read my factual post again !
Just because you dont like plain facts, it doesnt make them any less true !
As a customer of Smarty, of course I have a vested interest in Smarty, which is seeing it operate for its intended purpose,as a mobile phone service, not by cheap people who somehow think that reasonably priced fixed line broadband doesnt exist, when it clearly does, especially if you possess the common sense to "un-bundle" it from the offerings of sky, virgin, etc. BT owned PlusNet for one offers a good value for money broadband service.
