Did you mean:

My SIM is only 3G on my phone.

I've just moved to Smarty. I live in Northern Ireland. My WiFi connection was working fine until I got my old number changed. Now there's none whatsoever. I was told the SIM was 5g and it only 3 everywhere I go.

Does it get better?

Is this SIM useful for me? Taking into consideration where I live etc

@Richard_2465537 You really need to look at the coverage checker to see what signal is available in your area. It will also be worth running the Network Status checker to see if there are any local problems.

All Smarty sims are capable of receiving a 5G signal - if there is a good enough one available.

Useful advice from @MSF

I do remember around a year or so ago someone posting about poor coverage in Northern Ireland. Turned out the guy lived near the border with the Republic of Ireland, and his phone was picking up stronger signals from ROI networks, effectively constantly roaming. Just thought that I would mention it in case you are in the same boat.
