living in greece and keeping number of mobile

i am moving to greece (Zante) in September and would like to know the best options please

Do i get a greek sim? and can i transfer the number to it?

or can i keep the Smarty sim to use there? - charges? penalties?

@adx1957 Unfortunately, you can only keep EU Roaming for 60 days and so it will be necessary to get a local sim in Greece.

You will not be able to transfer your UK number to a Greek sim as far as I'm aware.
