How can I hide my mobile number when make some calls (141 on landline)

@CarolTu_1095845 When I Googled this, the suggestion was that 141 prefix works on mobiles. Have you tried it?

Try using the prefix #31# with the number you're calling, @JulieK-6262.

Okay @CarolTu_1095845, for most mobile phones just prefix the number you're calling with #31#.

The help article referenced above seems to indicate that if you deactivate outgoing caller id then you have to (remember to) reactivate it again, which seems a bit of a pain:
"To deactivate call ID and hide your number, use the code #31# before the number you want to dial.
To reactivate your call ID and display your number when you make calls, use the code *31# before the number you wish to call."
Does anyone know if it's a one shot deactivation or if it's a stateful feature?

@MrBrunes On an iPhone, you can toggle "Show my caller ID" on or off in Settings.
