I have followed all the help tips on how to reset the phone to be able to receive and send sms messages but it’s not working for my phone. Ive got a new smarty number, old number was From Australia. Can some one help, it’s been two very frustrating weeks of mobile and internet inefficiency.

@LyndaTa_3368959 Is the phone an iPhone? Have you checked the settings to see if it still 'thinks' that it has the Australian sim? iPhones are often affected by iMessage and FaceTime sticking with original number.

A network reset sometimes cures this type of 'sickness'.
