Hi i was wondering if anyone could help?

I ported my number to smarty  2 weeks ago, since then i can't make any calls what so ever it just say sorry you don't have access to this service.

I can receive calls on my original number that I ported over, but i can't receive text messages on that number. when I send a text message it shows as the smarty temp number. But i cant receive calls on the temp number.

I contacted smartie on Friday who says they will raise the issue.

Yesterday I got a text to say it was sorted. But i still have the same issue. Now smarty are saying they will raise the issue again? But won't give an eta.

Has anybody else had this problem.

Thanks

Sorry to hear about your service problems.
Sounds like it's time to make a complaint @KM_1897989, as you've tried unsuccessfully to resolve your issue using web chat.

To make a complaint, fill in an online complaints form at smarty.co.uk/complaints.

I've just tried to make a complaint on behalf of my mum and when we have logged into her account smarty have closed it down.

It would probably be best to start a web chat with Support Team as they can then look into what has happened. (We are only forum members and don't have access to the accounts.)

Have you checked in the phone's settings that it shows the correct number and not just the original sim number? The phone may not have 'learned' that the sim now has your original number.
