So for the past week I have had fluctuating service and because of this I cannot use my sim at all.
My service bar is consistantly fluctuating between 2 bar and no service. Even when I have service I still cannot use my data, make or recieve calls or texts.
I havs contacted Smarty twice. The first time I was advised it was Network Congestion and that I would recieve an email when to expect it to clear. I have not recieved any emails pertaining to this.
I ordered a new Sim Card in the mean time as I have had mine for a couple of year and thought it was worth changing.
I struggled to register my new sim card to my phone. It kept giving me the error code, Your Selected Network(SMARTY) Is Not Available (or something to thay affect).
Today I have repeated every step I was advised to again multiple times and finally by some miricle I was able to register it. However when my service drops I get 'Emergancy Calls Only' and a notification stating 'Selected Network (SMARTY) not avaliable.
I am waiting on a reply from Smarty as I messeged out of hours. I found someone with the same issue with a different model of Samsung Galaxy device. They said that Samsung was able to sort their issue, so I have emailed Samsung also.
I guess I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Or anyone in the Southampton area is experiencing it too.

@MeganMo_1042939 Did you order a new SIM card or a specific Replacement Sim? Only the latter would be available on your existing account.

I ordered a new sim, it wasn't a specific replacement. The sim card appeared fine, other than slight discolouration where it was in contact with the port. At the time I had no other device to test it in, so I thought it would be worth a try to get a new sim card to make sure that wasnt the issue. The new card works in my partners phone but I am still experiencing fluctuation between having service and Emergancy Calls. But I was able to send a text today, so I have no idea whats going on

@MeganMo_1042939 If you already have an account and then your sim gets broken, lost or stolen you need to order a specific Replacement Sim vfor it to work with your existing plan and account.
