Expired PAC

Hi all, does anyone have experience of retrieving a number after PAC expired ? I missed the deadline to renew or transfer my number, it was a number i originally transferred to smarty but not my main phone so not used over winter. Customer chat unable to help.

Am I right in thinking that you requested a PAC code from SMARTY to move the account, for your 2nd phone,  to another provider?
If so, when you do not use your PAC code within 30 days, it will become invalid and your contract with your original network will continue. You will then need to request a new PAC code to move to another provider.
The problem you may have is, if the account linked to this number wasn't being paid for then it will be cancelled and the number put back in to circulation to be re-allocated.
As long as that account is still active and payments up to date then all you have to do is request a new PAC code when you are ready to move over to another network.
