Data roaming add ons not working internationally

Hello, I often use my 12GB roaming allowance in the Czech Republic frequently and sometimes top it up with extra add ons. I’m now travelling in South East Asia and I’ve added add ons and yet my data is now not working. I manually connect to a network and it says I have 4G and yet it doesn’t work. The mob.asn thing is all correct. Any ideas as to why it’s suddenly not working outside Europe? Thank you.

@IndiaRo_1663223 It depends where you areas to the exact cost per megabyte. Don't forget that there is no 12Gb roaming allowance outside the EU - you pay for absolutely all data you use.

If you are in Cambodia, the price is £1 per megabyte while in Vietnam it's 10p per megabyte. That is £1024.00 and £102.40 respectively - your add-on won't last long that way!!

Check your account dashboard - I expect all your existing credit will have been used very quickly.

If you have a modern phone that accepts Esim, I suggest searching for companies that offer international data.

As an example, Roamless would currently charge $2.45 per megabyte in Vietnam and $4.45 in Cambodia.
