ANSWER FOUND How does the data add on work when my next monthly allowance starts

Answer found in another thread 

If I run out of data this month and buy an add on, and if there is still some of the add on left when my new month's allowance starts, will that unused added data sit on my account until I next run out or does it get used first before my next allowance starts to be used?
