I have a spare SIM which I want to use in a MiFi modem on a boat.  To activate the SIM, do I simply remove the Smarty SIM I am using in my phone and put the new SIM in to activate it.  Then remove the new SIM and put mine back in the phone.  And then pop the newly activated SIM into the router?

@Jonatha_2574828 If you don't want to start a totally separate account with a new email, then start a group and you can add the second sim as a 'nickname' account.

I recommend that you read all about Group Plans on the web site.

This does not work - the SIM needs to be activated using a new account first (which you can't create without buying a brand new SIM) and then adopted into a group plan. Or you buy a new SIM through the group plan.

There is some business process work needed for Smarty to get their customer onboarding processes to work as they show on their "help"documents and how their service reps are trained.
