Our MikroTik router is operating in a marginal signal area on 2G/3G.

What will happen when 3G is dropped?

@HarlawH_2344123  I understood that 3G was being turned off to allow masts to have a greater 4G capability.

In theory, you should be able to get 4G signal when 3G is turned off if you have a compatible phone/device.

That's what I had hoped.  But not clear how that will work unless they boost the 4G signal at same time?

@HarlawH_2344123 Yes - there is work on masts quite regularly and I imagine that a lot of that centres around boosting the 4G before the 3G disappears.

OK.  I will go up to the site and check whether it is showing 4G or not.

Thanks for all the input.

@HarlawH_2344123  De nada !!
