Smarty decline since merger
Any one else noticed the decline in data speeds and reliability since the merger. Smarty outages are now lasting days instead of hours, 2 - days now with less than 2Mbs, sometimes drops to 0.5Mbs on 4G - upload speeds are fine at 20Mbs. I used to get 70Mbs download even on 4G+. Three as always says work on going but Smarty only sends you to the community, not sure they have a customer service portal.
Auto-Renewal Failure
Hi there My SMARTY plan has been on auto-renewal since I opened my account and has renewed every month accordingly, for well over a year. Today it failed to renew. I have tried twice to renew it manually this morning and each time I get an on-screen 'success' message, but never a confirmation email and the Dashboard continues to say my plan needs renewing. I bank with Barclays, there are funds available in the account and the payment card has not expired. My partner's account, which was originally set up a the same time & was also set to auto-renew today, has renewed just fine, but he banks elsewhere. It feels like there maybe a problem between SMARTY & Barclays this morning?
Short codes 79100
I have just read a post from 2/2025 saying we can use short codes one here , but in Dec last year 2025 I tried to join fabswingers as a supported yes I can't wait for the jokes 😀 and I got charges for the text but the code never worked and ended up being refunded for out of plan add on moneys, does anyone know if this has changed or its still a no.go from.smarty ?
